Tactical Medic Course & Tactical Jump Exercise.
For the first time anywhere – the European Paratroopers Association’s Combat Training Center – CTC – will conduct a Tactical Medic Course & Tactical Jump Exercise.After 3 days of intensive and highly professional Tactical Medic Training Course – utilizing both day and night operations, weapons work and extensive combat operational training – you will then be briefed on a Combat Medic Rescue Operation and will actually parachute onto a drop zone where a highly charged, complicated rescue operation (based on actual Military & SWAT rescues) will take place by you and the rest of your team members. Tactical Medic Course - The absolute latest tactics and techniques of Army, SWAT and Tactical Medics will be taught during this fast paced and demanding course. During this course you will train during both day and night under realistic combat conditions with full equipment. You will learn to move to, treat and recover your wounded team mates while under fire. The tactics and techniques you learn are the latest ones being taught and used on the killing fields of Afghanistan by the Military and on the dangerous streets of America by SWAT Teams.Your primary instructor has many years of experience as an active duty Combat SWAT Medic and Master Instructor – he has not only perfected and instructed these tactics and techniques – but he uses them in real life during actual tactical operations.You will learn never-before-seen in Europe tactics for moving as a combat medic team to the wounded, assessing and treating them and then moving your comrades to safety – while fighting your way both in and out!!!Upon successful completion of this course you will be qualified for – and awarded – the US Army Field Medic Badge and United States SWAT Police Tactical Medic Badge with certificates.Anyone can teach you First Aid….only the European Paratroopers Association will teach you to save the lives of your Military and Police brothers as a Combat Medic!!!!! PATHFINDER COURSE.
The European Paratroopers Association’s Combat Training Center will be conducting a Patrol Scout/Pathfinder Course for members which will qualify you to conduct Military Pathfinder Operations.This course – conducted by our Mobile Training Team (MTT) will be an accelerated and intense program of both day and night operations. Air operations and training will be conducted using standard Military troop helicopters of the host nation You will bring all assigned combat equipment that you would normally carry during combat operations as all training will be done in full gear under real world conditions. You will be instructed in the tactics and techniques for marking LZ/DZs, both day and night, and for directing aircraft in for Airborne and Air Assault Operations. This course has never before been conducted in Europe and you will be among the elite warriors who wear the ‘Winged Torch’ of the Pathfinder!Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded the US Army Pathfinder Badge and Certificate. REPORTSFRIENDSHIP JUMP From 16 to 18 July members of the European Paratroopers Association coming from 8 different countries (Czech, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, France, Italy and Greece) had a true exchange of Airborne experience and skills with JMs from Czech Republic, Portugal, Italy and US Army during our event in Czech Republic. Our members had the opportunity to do SL jumps out L-410 Turbolet airplane with military round parachutes.
AIRBORNE TRAINING COURSEOn 17-20 June 12 active and retired soldiers coming from South Africa, USA, Great Britain, Ireland and Greece took part in our Basic Airborne Course in Czech Republic. They had an intensive prejump training, but for most of them, expert paratroopers it was just a refresh. After the training they jump out AN-2 airplane with OVP-68 round chute and at the end of the event were awarded Czech, Slovak and European Wings.
TRAINING WITH GERMAN ARMYOn 14-18 June a delegation of 10 members of our Association took part in the “PJE 2010” the annual parachute jump exercise organized by the Airborne Brigade 26 of German Army (LL Brig 26 -Saarland-). During the training week spent with the German Paratroopers in Saarlouis our comrades had the opportunity to jump with the T-10 parachute out C-160 Transall. Our guys were awarded German Wings.
SNIPER TRAINING COURSEOffered for the first time in Europe – the EPA’s Combat Training Center – conducted a Precision Rifle/Sniper Course in the Dolomite Mountains using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. The course reserved to the active duty Military and Police operators focuses on the precision rifle techniques. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the Police Sniper Badge and Tab and U.S. Army Marksmanship Badge.
SWAT TRAINING COURSESOn 3-7 June the EPA’s Combat Training Center – conducted basic and advanced SWAT Courses in Thessaloniki/Greece using our Mobile Training Team – MTT. The courses reserved to the SF of Greek Coast Guard focuses on the combat techniques and tactics of the SWAT Teams. Upon successful completion of all requirements students were awarded the SWAT Operator and Team Leader Badges and the Assault Rifle Badge.
